I hope this message finds you well. As we move through 2024, I wanted to take a moment to share some exciting updates since my last email to you back in March. We are continuing to invest in the customer experience Summit Broadband provides as we prioritize you, our valued customer
Our Story: Florida’s Fiber-Focused Leader
Summit Broadband has been proudly serving Florida for 30 years. We are a broadband services provider dedicated exclusively to Florida. Our team lives and works here, deeply understanding our community’s unique needs. With over 4,300 miles of fiber-optic infrastructure leveraged by state-of-the-art optical technology, we have invested heavily in making sure you have ultra-fast and reliable service.
2024 Initiatives: Enhancing Your Experience
So far this year, we launched several initiatives to continue the transformation of our business and make your experience even better.
Here are some highlights of what we’ve accomplished to date:
- Network Expansion & Improvements
We expanded capacity and enhanced our network with diversity to ensure higher performance and reliability for all customers. We recently updated our core network capacity to 400 Gbps running over new state-of-the-art technology. - Improved Customer Support
Thanks to increased adoption of the My Account online self-service portal with improved monitoring and proactive notifications, we continue to see major year over year improvements in our Customer Service Center. Call volumes are down 35% year over year and 90+% of all calls are being answered in 30 seconds or less, a 133% improvement. - New Launches
In April, we launched sales efforts for our fiber-based Internet service in Leesburg, FL. With affordable 1 Gig and 2 Gig options, residents in Leesburg now have the best technology available as an alternative to antiquated cable services - New Tech Solutions
We are now deploying Wi-Fi 6E routers with Plume software. Wi-Fi 6E routers provide an extra frequency to ensure less interference and more bandwidth. The Plume software on the router is an AI-driven solution that optimizes performance in the home and comes with the HomePass app making it simple to manage your inhome Wi-Fi experience.
