Summit Broadband Launches “Givings Campaign” to Support Florida Communities This Holiday Season
December 10, 2025
Orlando, FL – Dec. 10, 2025 – Summit Broadband, a leading fiber Internet and technology company serving Florida, is proud to announce its annual “Givings Campaign.” This effort is an extension of the Summit Promise of Focused on Florida, underscoring the company’s commitment to supporting the regions it serves and maintaining a strong local presence by giving back a portion of its proceeds to local charities. As part of this year’s campaign, Summit Broadband will sponsor and decorate themed Christmas trees benefiting two local organizations: Give Kids the World Village in Central Florida and Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida.
“At Summit Broadband, giving back to the communities where we live and work is part of who we are,” said Summit Broadband CEO, Kurt Van Wagenen. “Our ‘Givings Campaign’ reflects our ongoing commitment to building better connections—not just through technology, but through people and purpose. Supporting organizations like Give Kids the World and Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida allows us to make a real difference right here in Florida, where our roots run deep. It exemplifies our Summit Promise of being Focused on Florida—prioritizing local impact, local partnerships, and reinvesting in the communities we proudly serve.”
In Central Florida, Summit Broadband is sponsoring a decorated tree for Give Kids the World’s “Trail of Trees.” Employees will come together during the first week of December for a festive volunteer day to decorate a Florida/Summit-themed tree. The tree will remain on display throughout the holidays for visiting families to enjoy at Give Kids the World Village, which provides life-changing experiences for children with critical illnesses and their families.
“We’re so grateful for Summit Broadband’s generous support and participation in our Adopt-A-Tree Campaign for our Tree Trail this holiday season” said Danielle Deabler, Chief Advancement Officer of Give Kids the World Village.
In Southwest Florida, Summit Broadband will participate in the 2025 Festival of Trees, benefiting Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida. The Summit team will decorate a “Tech the Halls: A Florida Christmas by Summit Broadband” tree—celebrating innovation, connectivity, and community. The decorated tree will be raffled off during the festival, complete with a special tech gifts, such as a tablet, TV, and laptop, for the lucky winner.
