Leesburg, Fla. – Aug. 13, 2025 – Summit Broadband, a leading fiber-optics telecommunications provider for businesses and residential customers in Florida, is strengthening its community promise by adopting Leesburg Elementary School as part of the Central Florida Hotel & Lodging Association (CFHLA) Adopt-A-School initiative. This new partnership coincides with the company’s second annual back-to-school donation drive, which collects essential supplies for the school’s students.

Summit Broadband’s commitment to fostering strong community ties is exemplified by its support for programs like the CFHLA’s Adopt-A-School initiative. The program establishes positive partnerships between CFHLA members and public schools, aiming to benefit local communities and educational institutions. This marks the second year Summit Broadband has supported Leesburg Elementary, a school that serves students facing challenging circumstances, including homelessness and food insecurity.

This year, Summit Broadband contributed double the number of donations from the year before. These included school supplies, clothing, hygiene products, and non-perishable food items, and are intended to help students thrive in the classroom and beyond.
